Up for sale is a vintage 70's Scuba Pro 500 Automatic dive watch.
The watch appears to be all original and the case appears to be unpolished.
The case has some scratches but no major dings.
The caseback has some scratches but the Scubapro S is crisp and legible.
Solid stainless steel case measures 40mm wide (excluding the unsigned screw-down crown) by 46mm from lug to lug.
Thickness is 15mm and lug width is 20mm.
According to the prior owner a full service on the ETA 2784 (non-hacking) movement and pressure test was performed in August 2018.
When I received it, the two-piece bezel had issues seizing up which was corrected by a local watchmaker.
Haven't had issues with the bezel since but want to mention this for full disclosure.
Not sure if that issue will pop up again.
Also note that when the local watchmaker made the repair he accidentally knocked out the lume on the second hand.
I had considered getting it repaired but will leave that up to the new owner.
The black dial is in great condition.
The green hued tritium markers glow briefly when exposed to light.
Original crown screws down tightly.
Winding, quickset date and non-hacking movement operate as they should.
Matte silver bezel is in excellent condition.
Mineral crystal has light scratches.
Comes on the Isofrane style Borealis rubber dive strap shown.
