Clean title and well maintained. I've had her since 06' and she has been my garage queen. No juvenile BS with this bike. Currently sitting on stands at ~22k mi. I enjoy working on the bike more than riding it. Has just about every upgrade available. Really just needs a new rider and a good home. (If you're a scumbag looking for cheap wheels or just looking to abuse the bike, I will not sell to you.) With all of the upgrades, this thing rides like a 90's sport bike, but with air cooled 600cc power. Definitely not perfect, but very lovable.
The Good:
Within the past 5k mi i've replaced:
Pirelli Sport Demon tires with 0 miles.
OEM pads front and rear
Denso iridium spark plugs
OEM clutch and steels
Brake fluid flush
Carb cleaning and balancing
Valve adjustment
Progressive front springs
Starter rebuild
Yuasa battery
Hagon rear shock/spring
DID X ring Ti plated gold chain
OEM sprockets
Dynojet Jet Kit
Factory Pro 4 degree ign advance
Piaa light system
Full Vance and Hines exhaust system
The Bad:
Prev owner put it down - front fairing has some rash on the right side and couple hairline cracks that i've ABS glued. It doesn't look terrible, but it certainly isn't pretty.
Corbin seat has a crack and a tear
Carbs could benefit from a proper dyno tune and different main jets to
make more power.
Paint is starting to fade in some areas and windscreen is yellowing
Wheel weight fell off of the rear wheel
I am the 3rd owner. Initial owner put the bike down and rashed out
the fairing and bent the handlebar. After a long hiatus and storing the bike wet, for whatever reason he had a Yamaha dealer in the Santa Cruz area rebuild the motor. Afterwards, the original owner gave the bike to his brother, who rode it for a short while, then i bought it from him. I replaced the handlebars and brought the bike back to pre-accident state, sans fairing damage. Pretty sure the original owner didn't go down super hard. The bar stops are undamaged, rear fairings undamaged, and bike rides straight. While i've never put it on a rack to get checked, i'm pretty sure there is no chassis damage.
Pretty sure i have a spare set of rotors, probably some pads, Chilton manual, and all of the original parts that came off. I never received the original seat though. If ya give me the full asking price, i'll throw in the Pit Bull rear stand. I think i got a cheapie front and rear stand as well. I'm sure i'm missing some stuff - i've been playing with this thing for 13 yrs now.
